How do I add a frame and mat to a selection?

  • For each artistic expression(s) that you would like to purchase, select it then select the “Buy” icon.
  • Next, select the “Prints” icon then click on the “Select” next to the desired print size.
  • Next select the “Add to Cart” button.
  • Repeat the steps above if you desire to purchase additional artistic expressions.
  • After you are done adding items to your cart, please select either the “Cart” icon in the upper, right of the “Buy” icon, then select the “View Cart” option.
  • Click on the first selection that you would like to add a frame to.
  • You will be able to adjust the cropping of the image by adjusting the orange crop bars.  Please note that what appears within this box is what will appear as the final image.
  • Next, select the frame icon on the upper, right-hand side of the screen or the "Frame It" link below the selection if you did not make any adjustments to the cropping.
  • Scroll down the available options and select on a frame to preview it against the print.  Note: any watermarks that may be displayed on the selection will not be printed.
  • To add a mat after making your frame choice, select the “Mat” drop down window to select the desired “Mat” color.
  • Select the drop down window next to “Glass”, to select the desired glass option.  I highly recommend the "Non-Glare" option.
  • Select the “Next” button at the bottom, right then repeat the steps outlined above to select the desired frame, mat and glass option for any additional items in your cart as desired.
  • Once you’re done, select the “Save and Close” text in the upper, right-hand corner to add the additional items to your shopping cart.
  • You can now check out or continue shopping.

What does “Best Fit” mean?

I highly recommended that you take advantage of the "Best Fit" as your first option.  The “Best Fit” options are best for preserving as much of the original aspect ratio of the selection as possible and will minimize the amount of cropping of the selection.  Selecting other sizes will require action on your part to crop the selection to your requested size.  For example a 16x20 would not fit perfectly into a 16x24 frame and therefore would need to be cropped (trimmed) to fit the different size aspect ratio.
