Family Beach Photos: What are the odds?

A few months ago, I was contracted to take some family pictures at the beach.  In talking with the client, I learned that it had been quite some time since the entire family had all been in the same location.  I was excited to have the opportunity to preserve such a joyous occasion.   The family wanted to meet at the beach.  In addition, they informed me that they would all be dressed alike—wearing blue jeans, a white shirt with no shoes.  We decided to meet at a specific location at the beach on the day after Thanksgiving at around 11:00.  As I begin to take pictures of the family, another family began to make their way over to our location.  To our surprise, they were also dressed in blue jeans, a white shirt and were not wearing any shoes.  I thought to myself, ghee, what are the odds that there would be another family who would be dressed in the same manner, at the same location, on the same day and roughly around the same time frame.
